Favorite Sonic Instrumental?
Anagrama
The Bedroom Fire Engine Dream Death To Our Friends Macbeth Freezer Burn The Good and the Bad Lee is Free Having Never Written a Note For Percussion Kim's Chords Very hard decision to make.. I gonna vote for Macbeth |
really hard to decide, but I went with Fire Engine Dream. Then shortly behind would be Macbeth, then Kims Chords.
|
I really like Stil from SYR2 and Destroyer from the EP CD too. Went with DtoF.
|
how come 3 part sectional love seat is not listed?
im not sure its my fav sy instrumental but im preatty sure it is one of my favourite of the recent sonic releases. that tune makes me go wild man. and so does fire engine dream. |
It's not listed because there are more than 10 SY instrumentals and FN had to make some hard choices. It's a common PP (poll problem).
|
ah aite.
id still would like to know who plays what on fire engine dream. that 'guitar solo' is just sick. makes me go mad. im super drunk tho. |
Someone can always make a Favorite Sonic Instrumenal poll part 2. With all different songs
|
nothing beats that fucking bass on the good and the bad, even though its thurston. love that shit.
|
and what about tremens ?

Death to our friends///
|
Macbeth, with Anagrama a close second.
|
I voted for Anagrama, but "Beautiful Plateau" keeps on playing in my mind. This one is the most marvellous and romantic thing they ever made!
|
Lee is free.
|
Spinhead. possibly my favorite Sonic song ever.
|
good and the bad, yep.

This changes for me all the time. I voted for "The Bedroom", but I'm more into "Loop Cat" on the Destroyed Room at the moment.
Then there's "Radio-Amatoroj" from SYR 3 which I absolutely love... |
if it weren't for those pesky words at the beginning, i would say 'rain on tin.'

Death to our friends BIG TIME
|
good thread.
many tracks are not listed tho. the good and the bad deserve its recognition as well, that's why I've voted for it. by the way Edges fucking rules....I know, it's not their own piece, but their performence rules. yeah, beautifull plateau....amazing... |

Anagrama without a doubt leaving the rest far BEHIND!!!
Besides being an awesome track with an ingenius build-up and an even more ingenius climax, it also marked a certain departure as well as a new welcoming of sounds. A brilliant opening song for their brilliant back then live shows. |
James Blonde adores tiny "Sweet Emotion" from the Sweet Emotion EP.
|
The Good And The Bad for its reissue live version (even if it's not completely instrumental...)

Right on. My only complaint, is that I wish everybody would post all this remarkable stuff right I do a radio show, instead of right after. ;) |
