NOTES:

  • An excellent instrumental with at least 4 guitars droning and screeching away. There's almost live-sounding drums at times, as well. The song is reprised again as the last track on the CD release, in a slightly different recording.
  • This was Ciccone Youth's 2nd video, and happens to be my favourite Sonic Youth video. Dave Markey had made a film called "Plasticland" in 1980, and released it on the "Some Shit" comp (We Got Power Films 1988) w/ "Macbeth" as the soundtrack. When the Screaming Fields of Sonic Love video was released, Thurston wanted to include a Macbeth video, so Dave took the Plasticland footage, edited in some leftover things from the Mildred Pierce video shoot in 1990, and the Macbeth video was created.
