Lyrics status: confirmed
I can never forget you
The way you rock the girls
They rule the world and love you
A blast in the underworld
I stick a knife in my head
Thinkin' about your eyes
But now that you've been shot dead
I got a new surprise
I've been awaitin' for you just to say
The zoftig chick is mine
All I know is you got no money
But that's got nothing to do with a good time
Can you forgive the boy who shot you in the head
Or should you get a gun and go and get revenge
A hundred percent of my love up to you, true star
It's hard to believe you took off
I always thought you'd go far
I've been around the world a million times
And all you men are slime
Gun to my head, goodbye I am dead
Wastewood rockers it's time for crime, hey!

First Known Performance: 06/27/92
Last Known Performance: 11/10/11
NOTES:
- Written about the shooting death of band friend Joe Cole.
- "100%" was the first single from Dirty. Its video
features SY performing at a house party of sorts,
interspersed w/ some skateboarding footage.
- Performed on Late Night w/ David Letterman on September
4th, 1992. Paul Shaffer and the house band backed
SY on a high-spirited, explosive rendition. Thurston attacked
his guitar with a drumstick while Lee went one further and
mauled his guitar with a baseball bat. Even Paul joined in,
pushing his keyboard off its stand at the end of the song.
Not to be outdone, Thurston ends up falling flat on his ass,
then hopping away while Letterman comes to greet them.
- Jim O'Rourke played guitar on this song while he was in the band.
