NOTES:

  • The long-awaited SYR6 turned out to be not one of the rumored solo noise forays, or the infamous J'Accuse Ted Hughes, or a collaboration with Brigitte Fontaine, or any of the other speculated candidates for the next SYR. It was instead Sonic Youth's performance from 04/12/03 in NYC, an improvised set with guest percussionist Tim Barnes, creating spontaneous soundtrack music to accompany Brakhage footage. It's artfully mixed + split into 3 tracks for the CD release.
