TV SHIT BREAKDOWN
Thurston: "this song was written by
the DC Youth Brigade in 1981, it's
called NO PART II, it goes like this."
then a bunch of screaming and
wild sonic noise and uh, stuff.
This track doesn't feature a
performance of No Part II, instead
we hear somebody screaming something
over the house music (likely a performance of NO II has just finished). Towards the end
"I Asked My Love To Take A Walk" begins to play and fades out.
Track 3 - recorded 10/17/92 Bloomington, NY
Thurston: "are you ready? are you ready?"
then a much longer variation on the first
track, basically a lot of screaming and
noise and analog synth insanity. Ends
with some calming house music. and just
when you thought your speakers were safe...
Thurston: "okay, thats about it. thats
about all we gotta say to y'all tonight.
we'd like to thank you for coming down
and checkin' our shit out. before we leave,
before we boogie, and all that.. we'd like
to do one more song, this is, by a group of
washington dc called youth brigade. this
is called NO II... hit it baby.."
you know the rest.
