NOTES:

  • In 1989 Sonic Youth did a Peel Session (though I've heard these were recorded at the same time as the Fall covers in '88) containing 4 brand new, and seemingly largely improvised instrumentals. They haven't seen any official release from the band so far, but are available on a bootleg 7" called Speak No Evol.
  • Major Label Chicken Feed is the fastest song here, rockin' at a nice pace, and sounding like it could be an outtake from the Goo demos.
    Full-blown pre-composed riffs, as opposed to the generally improvised feel of the rest of the session. I suppose that's where it title comes from..
