NOTES:

  • In 1989 Sonic Youth did a Peel Session (though I've heard these were recorded at the same time as the Fall covers in '88) containing 4 brand new, and seemingly largely improvised instrumentals. They haven't seen any official release from the band so far, but are available on a bootleg 7" called Speak No Evol.
  • Ruben's Beard starts out w/ sort of meandering, droning guitars, then kicks into a full-on cock rock riff without warning (and it often seems like the band didn't know when to change, either.. it sounds like some guitars take a second to catch up w/ the lead rock riff).
