NOTES:

  • Originally composed by Christian Wolff in 1971.
  • More guessing at who plays what, other than the obvious. It sounds like there's 3 guitars, one left, one right, and one w/ a severely heavy MXR Blue Box effect on it (could be a bass, too). The percussion is varied, w/ a marimba, xylophone, clay drum, vibes, cymbals, chimes, snare, and gong. It sounds like Kim is breathing at times too. In his liner notes, William Winant says that Christian Wolff played an "organ-synthesizer", which is likely responsible for the various keyboard sounds heard throughout the song. William also says that he, Lee, Jim, Takehisa, and Wolff played the melodic parts while Kim, Thurston, and Steve did the rhythmic parts w/ turntable assistance courtesy of Christian Marclay.
