Yeah, so I'm back from the Quart festival. And it was a blast. Serena Maneesh were brilliant live. They played so fucking good, and competly won me over. Emil Nikolaisen is such a great frontfigure, he just took the stage. After the show my ears were bleeding badly, but it was worth it. Some days later I hooked up with the guy who plays violin in the group, and I was talking about how great they were that nigth, and that folks on the Sonic Youth Board had been digging their music, and he was completly thrilled to hear it. So he shook my hand and said that I was welcom to be put on the guestlist if they ever played my area. A great ecxperience. I'll post some pictures I took at the gig, once I find them.

I also have to say that the Raconteurs were amazing. Somebody told they sucked live, but that was just bullshit. They rocked, alot harder live, than on tape. And they played a ace cover of Nancy Sinatras Bang Bang.
