for what it's worth, I tried to help you a few days ago with no luck.

came back to see if anyone else was able, since I liked the song.

I'd like to see some of the big-headed music forum talk put to application. go go go.

Quite possible the opening theme from a short-lived TV show in the early 90's.

I got 20 seconds in, realised I neither knew who it was or liked the song, turned it off.

I'm going to be digitising a load of my old Peel tapes later this year so there'll be a lot more threads like this from me in due course.

Whatever it is, I wouldn't be overly surprised if the band turned out to be signed to Creation.

Unknown song isn't 'shit' per se, it just doesn't flick my switches. Y'know, it's important to listen to new things and all that, but I've had 15+ years of guitar music and I'm a bit drained on it. Luckily for you, I partially document my own self-loathing via the medium of this board.

Several weeks to a month or so ago, I stumbled across an album online and I can't remember the name or where I saw it. For some reason I have it in my mind it was a new 2012 solo release from one of the Boredom's drummers. I also want to say it was on Kranky, but I sure can't find anything like that on their website today??? I remember the cover being mostly red or black with a red object on it. I listened to a soundclip and this particular track was maybe 15 minutes long and the first eight minutes were low end methodic drumming that was growing as the track progressed.
Any ideas or help will be appreciated : )
