Ive had that happen but, it was always the headphones that messed up, never the cd player

i'd really, really like a zune. 30 gigs for around what i paid for 20 isn't bad.

I hate that im nearing the end of my ipods space (30 gig) and really wouldnt want to take any of the music off, very little of it i would want to part with. At least for ipod listening which basically functions as my stereo since i always lose the cds i actually buy

i'm out of space but i try to delete songs i'm just not into anymore to make room for new stuff every other week or so.

The zen kills the Ipod. Badly. Better price, better video image quality (4 times better than the ipod I believe), and doesn't require specific software. I still use my sony discman though, it still kicks ass with it's ATRAC3 and MP3 playback

Buuuuuttttt yeaahhh I'm getting really tired and just wathing my friend play Gran Turismo.

but it's still a really good player with great sound and battery life.
