It was always a double-vinyl, the original release had "Elegy" on side 3, and a Rita Ackermann etching on side 4. Really cool, check it out...

That said, the tracks collected on side 4 of the reissue are essential...
(I just noticed that there's no scan of the vinyl on there, and I own them both! huh...well you can see the etching
