the disney music is like the best shit being made today, you never know what's coming next; country, ska chords, an yngwie j.malmsteen rip off solo, slow versions of ramones songs. the only thing you can be sure of is that all the different wierd parts will combine into a swirling maelstrom of bored studio musicians and repressed teenage sexuality which is disturbingly being sold to 10 year olds. and since the vocals are so computer generated you can be sure that the singing will never be anything but perfect

Actually you're completely right. My neice is 9 and she is in love with THe Jonas Brothers....she's effin crazy about them. It sucks.

the jonas brothers are ok, but disney hasn't mastered the generic rock thing, but the jonas bros stage moves are incredible though and i feel the music may eventually catch up

I think there's a sense in which the Disney team are making something that's slightly less cynical than the Pop Idol thing, which has produced some ok stuff and some unmitigated turds. Are Aly & AJ part of the Disney thing? Potential break-up song is one of my favourite songs of the last few years, but everything else they did (that I heard) was guff.

aly and aj are associated with hollywood records which i think is owned by disney, and they've been in disney shows, but they made christian music before getting involved in disney and i think they(or their managers) have some control over their careers. whereas some of the other disney people got all their singing/dancing/acting lessons through disney and have never worked for anyone else, and likely have their DNA patterns copyrighted by disney.the jonas brothers have promised to stay virgins until marriage, i don't know what they do in their private lives but if i was a 16 year old celebrity i would quickly earn the nickname "caligula" jonas
