Seriously though, some glues work by “drying” out (in fact the solvent evaporates, concentrating the chemicals). Some work by reacting chemically with the air (oxidation) to change the chemicals into adhesives.

When glue is inside the bottle the solvent can’t evaporate, nor can the air get to the chemicals, so until they come out, they won’t stick!

You obviously have never seen me in the bath because I can assure you they are not the only parts of my body that "prune".

No I can't access the board from work, and haven't been able to for quite some time. And yes, I normally have Wednesdays off, but I'm having a few days off to use up my holiday entitlement.

I have no idea what pans & company is, but I had a bad experience with Pizza Hut*, so go with the former.












* I went to get a pizza and watched the three people preparing the pizza as they shoved their hands down the front of their trousers before going back to putting toppings on. I think they were comparing trouser bagginess.

I've recently lost my ability to use my left hand in an arm-wrestling match. Should I get a prosthetic hand or just a plain old hook, much like the kind that pirates of old used. Keep in mind I'm also currently in a wheelchair and have no prospect of being out of one for a long long time.
