STEREO SANCTITY Guitar tab by Chris Lawrence TUNING: G G D D Eb Eb This tab is mainly for the RIGHT speaker. Occasionally it drifts to what the left speaker is doing, but it's more or less the right's tab. At the start, there's a bunch of goofing around, plucking behind the bridge, nut, etc. Some slides and trem bar effects, but I didn't tab it. This is the chord that the song officially starts on: Eb-0--- Eb-0--- D--0--- D--0--- G--7--- G--7--- strum that furiously, then: Verse: Eb-22-22-22-22-22-22-etc.---0----- Eb-22-22-22-22-22-22--------0----- D--22-22-22-22-22-22-----------0-- D--22-22-22-22-22-22-----------0-- G---0--------------------0-------- G---0--------------------0-------- Chorus: Eb--15-15-15-15-19-15--15-15-19-15-- etc. it goes on for longer, Eb--15-15-15-15-19-15--15-15-19-15-- but you get the idea. D---15-15-15-15-19-15--15-15-19-15-- D---15-15-15-15-19-15--15-15-19-15-- G----------------------------------- G----------------------------------- Eb-------12-12-12-12--13-12--13\- That's the end of the chorus RIFF. The Eb-------12-12-12-12--13-12--13\- ending to that riff is different every D----0---12-12-12-12--13-12--13\- time, but that's the first one. Ad-lib. D----0---12-12-12-12--13-12--13\- G----0--------------------------- G----0--------------------------- After the 2nd chorus, I think, there's a break, which is the same as the intro. Then, it goes to this bridge: Eb-----12-13-12-- Eb-----12-13-12-- D------12-13-12-- D------12-13-12-- G---0------------ G---0------------ Then to this part (ALL HARMONICS): Eb----7-- Eb----7-- REPEAT OVER AND OVER. The left speaker guitar plays something D--7----- else, similar to what the right speaker guitar plays after the D--7----- harmonic part. G-------- G-------- THEN (not harmonics): The next part can be played two ways, so pick: FIRST WAY: Eb------------------------------ Eb------------------------------ D---12---14\7--7---7-8---8\4---- After that, play the same thing, but with D---12---14\7--7---7-8---8\4---- your finger barring the same frets on the G------------------------------- Eb strings as well. G------------------------------- SECOND WAY: Eb---------------------------- Eb---------------------------- D----------------------------- D----------------------------- G---7---9\2--2---2-3---3\0---- G---7---9\2--2---2-3---3\0---- If you're playing with two guitars, have one guitarist play the first way, and one play the second way. That'll sound cool. After that, it's a bunch of higher ad-lib stuff, around the 19th fret, then to the 12th, 15th, etc. Pointless to tab. Then, after all that ends, hit the low G strings, and slide back from any given point on the fretboard, while picking furiously on the note. Easy to improvise. The ending is just a mimic of the noise at the very beginning of the song.
