• The Forced Exposure single is actually an early live version w/ alternate lyrics.
• The music video for this song was directed by Charles Atlas and is filmed 'live' (w/ no crowd), for the 'Put More Blood in the Music' documentary.
• This was also the song with which Sonic Youth introduced themselves on network television on the Night Music program, as captured beautifully on Screaming Fields of Sonic Love (w/ different lyrics, again...).
• The 2nd verse was commonly changed to "Dave Markey making out with (?? Edie? Iggy?) / Me n Izzy, you know that she's a sweetie / Got a date with a girl named Cher / Gonna go see Cats, hope to see you there"
• Jim played guitar on this while he was in the band.
