  • It was released as a single track on the Rarities 3 compilation, as well as the Three Lobed Recordings compilation In/Out/In.
  • In/Out/In notes: "Basement Contender" - Recorded by Lee Ranaldo in Northampton, MA in 2008. Performed by Kim Gordon, Thurston Moore, Lee Ranaldo and Steve Shelley. I suppose Mark may not be on it...?
