• From April 16th to April 19th 2009, Sonic Youth participated in four performances for choreographer Merce Cunningham's 90th birthday, all at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. SY wrote some specific pieces for the event, but they were not played in the same order each night, and I don't know which were used when (or what any of them sound like!). They sound more like concepts than "songs", in any case. The titles are taken from the band's notes:
