NOTES:
Early Goo jammage from a 10/27/89 Hoboken rehearsal tape.
One of the unfinished instrumental demos from the '89 Hoboken rehearsals pieced together by Lee for the Goo deluxe reissue. Per Lee in the reissue liner notes: "'Isaac' came from rehearsals in June. The name is a reference to Isaac Hayes. We called it our 'Shaft Song,' because it had a guitar part that really had that waka-waka Shaft thing going on. This version was edited together from a couple of nearly final takes. It was one of a few things we found on cassette that was pretty much a finished track. It was one of those songs we just didn't come back to.". Thurston offers: "But 'Isaac' was just a jam. It was not intended to come out."
Some chatter before the track, including Lee saying "I don't know where we're starting!" and Thurston suggesting to start at the top.
At the end of the track, you can hear:
Kim - "Did that seem okay to you that time?"
Thurston - "What?"
Kim - "Did that seem okay?
Thurston - "Yeah."
