Lyrics   status: confirmed

Plastic girl with plastic gun
Plastic smile under plastic sun
You burn my heart with your frigid stare
Rip me off with your greasy hair
   (JANE: "britney spear")
I hate you and your fishy friends
I hate you and it never ends

Plastic girl with plastic gun
Plastic smile under plastic sun
You burn my heart with your frigid stare
Rip me off with your greasy hair
   (JANE: "britney spear")
I hate you and your fishy friends
I hate you and it never ends

Tired of the times I wound up dead
Tired of the dogs inside your head
Tired of the needles beside your bed
Tired of the crap you keep me fed
Tired of the people you keep misled
Your blood is turning my blue eyes red
Get your hands off my tomato
Cherry juice on a rotten potato
Subway slasher's on my ass
Steals my money and smokes my grass
Watch your back or you're dead meat baby
Throw a dog a bone and you still get rabies

Plastic girl with plastic gun
Plastic smile under plastic sun
You burn my heart with your frigid stare
Rip me off with your greasy hair
   (JANE: "britney spear")
I hate you and your fishy friends
I hate you and it never ends

Track length: 2:14

NOTES:

  • Composed and recorded in 2001, this piece was originally designated for release on a bonus CD that came w/ Jane magazine -- however due to an error along the line the song appeared at the wrong pitch on the disc. SY have graciously provided the corrected version as a free download from sonicyouth.com
  • However! This song was unexpectedly debuted live at the 2002 All Tomorrow's Parties festival (w/ alternate lyrics replacing the "britney spear" line), and appears on "Murray Street".
  • The Murray Street version is the same recording as the Jane mag version, but w/ a new bassline and the "greasy hair" line replacing "britney spear".
  • Lyrics written by Thurston.
