• David Bowie held a 50th birthday celebration concert at Madison Square Garden on January 9th, 1997. He invited many different musicians to join him onstage to perform his songs with him -- Sonic Youth backed him on "I'm Afraid of Americans". This has never been officially released, though it was televised.
