Never gonna tell ya do it, a world below
Heather Angel, you are somewhere on the show
Don't you think you would find where to go?
I want to go dancing on the other side
I want to buy a phonograph but the money's gone
He bought books and records
I don't care about that
I just want to be alive and go to the other...
I don't want money or books, have to decide
Passive
And you were shot in.. in the name of it..
And then you'd see yeah yeah yeah.. yeah, yeah
Then you'd see the relation.. on the ship
The ship to...
And walking I see you in the clouds
And I fall for.. I would fall for you.. I would..
I would........
Forever...........
Goodbye, bye.. goodbye..
And that is all..........
STOP! STOP! STOP!
Here we go, here we go
Here we go, here we go
Here we go, here we go.... go we go we go

Track length: 6:09
First Known Performance: 08/29/97
Last Known Performance: 07/07/99
NOTES:
- Just titled "New" on the set lists for
the first 2 shows they played it at. The
Heather Angel title was in place by
November '97.
- It had vocals at its first performance.
- Originally (up until the 11/21/97 show,
as well as on the album, I believe) Thurston
would literally pound the strings of his guitar
with a hammer during the mid-section of this
song. By the time the tour rolled around
in '98, the hammer was sadly gone.
- The album version features a 21-second
arpeggiation tacked onto the beginning
of the song.
- Heather Angel is an actress, check out
her IMDB profile.
- Mark Allen has informed me that the lyrics are certainly lifted from and/or based upon the French film "Pierrot Le Fou" which apparently has great significance to Kim (supposedly a mid-90's visit to the X-Girl store revealed a VCR w/ only 2 videos available: "The Punk Rock Movie" and "Pierrot Le Fou"!).
