The DVD contains the original film with "a visually restored picture and newly remastered sound in uncompressed PCM stereo along with over 60 minutes of unreleased bonus footage."

"(This Is Known As) THE BLUES SCALE" - a 40-minute bonus film that Dave Markey edited out of unused footage from the tour. It contains the following songs:

BROKEN PUNK - 12 Years After - 15-minute Q&A recorded in August 2003 at a showing of 1991: TYPB and the first public viewing of "Blues Scale", if I recall correctly(?). Dave Markey, Thurston, Lee, Steve, and J Mascis are in attendance.

ROUGH EDITS - This is a rough edit of "Mote" as used in the film, but it includes the segue into "Flower". Though much of the footage is from soundcheck, I'm pretty sure the audio is from the live take since Thurston introduces "Flower" and you can hear whistling/shouting. I've determined that this was taken from the 08/30/91 Nuremburg, Germany gig @ the Serenadenhof, one of the few shows not surfaced from this tour. (5:42)

TEENAGE RIOT (ALT EDIT) - this is more like the whole film condensed into one video with "Teenage Riot" as the soundtrack, rather than an alternate edit of what appears in the film. It's very cool and has lots of unseen footage of all bands! (4:26)

The DVD main menu contains the beginning of "Teenage Riot" ("hey, did you know that punk rock finally broke in '91?") on a short loop with footage from the film and options to PLAY (the film in its entirety), SCENES (chapter selection), BACKSTAGE (bonus features), and SUBTITLES (language options). SCENES menu 1 plays "Schizophrenia" on the soundtrack, SCENES menu 2 plays "Freak Scene", SCENES menu 3 plays "Dirty Boots", SCENES menu 4 plays "Smells Like Teen Spirit", and SCENES menu 5 plays "Polly". The BACKSTAGE menu has the 6 extras, "Kool Thing" plays on a loop. The SUBTITLES menu is silent and loopless and features three pics of the band and one of King Louie. All selections are made by moving an anarchy symbol to your choice.
