NOTES
Mike Watt of Ciccone Youth fame's "solo" album, "Ball-Hog Or Tugboat?" featured no fewer than 50 guest performers, including Thurston, Lee, and Steve, who all perform on Watt's version of "Tuff Gnarl" (Thurston, Lee, and Nels Cline play guitar, Watt plays bass, J Mascis plays drums for the "song", Steve switches off for the "jam", Epic Soundtracks plays tambourine, Petra Haden plays violin, and Carla Bozulich sings it all). Also, Coco Hayley Gordon Moore makes her first vocal appearance on "E-Ticket Ride"...
This was originally released in elaborate cardboard packaging which, when opened, contained 3 card sleeves, one holding the disc, one holding a 6-panel folded insert w/ song credits/lyrics, and one holding a "Ring Spiel '95" glossary of Watt lingo. When sold via CD clubs like Columbia House or BMG, the 6-panel insert was used as the cover/credits in the jewel case.
