• The Black Crowes wanted SY to open, but they couldn't so Thurston offered to do a Psychic Hearts set instead. The Crowes' fans, needless to say, didn't dig Male Slut too much (even though they hit the stage, mock-singing Bob Seger songs), and proceeded to barrage them with beer bottles (which Thurston swatted back w. his guitar) until they left the stage.
