  • D. Boon of the Minutemen died in a car accident after this gig. Lee had been using his amp for the show. Boon's death perhaps struck bandmate Mike Watt the hardest, and his contributions to Sonic Youth's March '86 sessions were supposedly the first bass tracks he'd played since.
