details unknown...	This show sparked the infamous Sonic Youth vs Robert Christgau rivalry. Christgau, the Village Voice's music editor, assigned John Piccarella to cover the show. The band put on a weak performance by all accounts and the review was largely unfavorable. Thurston was upset with the review despite the quality of the performance and attacked Christgau as a narrow-minded rock critic overlooking the thriving underground scene.
