I had previously noted that the January 20th Inroads gig was when Lee and David Linton joined the band onstage. I think I'd assumed this based on the gig poster, but according to Lee's journals he joined them at a previously undocumented June 9th, 1981 show. This would have been a week or so before their appearance at Noise Fest, but I thought they had already started performing as Sonic Youth at this point, so it seems odd that they'd use The Arcadians again? I'm still waiting to get a bit more info on this gig.
This was an Arcadians (Thurston, Kim, Ann DeMarinis, and Dave Keay?) show. Lee and David Linton (from the Plus Instruments) happened to be there and joined the band onstage. Lee played half of Ann's keyboard and David played some percussion.
