Today at 10:00 AM Eastern Time a limited number of tickets will go onsale to the public for the May 15 NONCommvention concert in Louisville, KY featuring Sonic Youth, Patti Smith, Paul Westerberg, and the Polyphonic Spree. Here's the link. UPDATE: SOLD OUT GOO will see the reissue light in much the same way DIRTY did - a deluxe 2CD/4 LP edition with extensive liner notes (again, by Byron Coley) as well as GOO-era arcana. Included in this package will be B-sides, oddities and the fabulous 8-track GOO demos remixed into hot sonic slash. Dirty Deluxe still availble through Universal (2xCD) and Midheaven (4xLP) Jim has an installation entitled "We're all in this together" in the 2004 Biennial at the Whitney Museum in New York, which opened March 11. The installation is in the restrooms on the ground floor of the museum. Other SY-affiliated artists in the Biennial include Richard Prince, Stan Brackhage, Raymond Pettibon, and Jonas Mekas.
