If Adobe shit would work on linux I would consider it my next choise. I've never bought into the mac hype, but I'm not thrilled about having to learn windows again after years of mac use. Although win pc is probably all I can afford.

i don't know if you use warez but adobe cloud is platform-agnostic: you download/install what you need where you need it and blam.

i don't mean REALLY REALLY agnostic like some sort of self-contained java environment, i mean it runs on macshit or win-doze because you download+ activate whatever product you need.

however, if you're using warez, well, can't help you there.

I thought there's an additional fee if you switch over to another platform. As for Linux, adobe doesn't offer any support I believe.

the ghost of steve jobs once said that he only skates where the hockey puck is going... so it makes sense for them to focus on iOS and fuck the puny workstation market. still, disappoint...

One thing I do miss about my school was the plenitude of mac pros. My macbook would be just fine if the temperature wasn't 190 F every time you do some vigorous photoshopping etc. Apparently heat issues are pretty common topic.

I'd want a big and robust laptop, with enough power and cooling, but the macs seem to be going other direction.
