fav songs of 2012:
Kendrick Lamar - Cartoon & Cereal (and Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe, m.A.A.d city, Sing About Me.. well, pretty much all of GKMC) Schoolboy Q - Blessed Gunplay - Bible on the Dash Future - Turn On the Lights Chief Keef - Love Sosa if someone just woke up from a coma after a year, i'd tell them that those are the only songs which they MUST hear. |

Reasonable Doubt has been my fav album for a minute. it seems like the older i get, the more i'm able to understand this album and even relate to it in a way. lyrically this is his best effort, you can find so much wisdom in it. i mean shyt like Politics as Usual, D'evils, Can I Live and Regrets. Hov was ahead of his time with this one. Ski killed it behind the boards of course. and whoever made the Regrets beat deserves a fucking medal.

"D'evils" is one of the most thrilling songs of his career. I'm w/ you though. When it came out I was like "RD is alright." Over the years I was like "RD is ok." But as I get older I feel like it's really this super solid ahead of its time record. Something I like more and more each year instead of feel it's losing something. |

Rap sucks these days. I can come up with rhymes at work through conversation by mistake which always ends up being a shallow ill-begotten pun laugh between colleagues. Why would a grown man want to write rhyming lyrics down (as a piece of art? - obviously money is essential in the process).
I try to listen with enthusiasm but all i can think is this ain't Liquid Swords or Linx. Everything is just proper shit compared to those albums. Rza is a proper cock face these days aswell. Don;'t know why i'm posting oh wait ya fucker, off on one |
