Yes, I use photos from my own collection or from books and the internet.
Most of the things I show on the forum, are rough scetches, that I'll eventually put on canvas, paper or vinyl.
I land up deleting most of them though. It's very seldom that I'm satisfied.

it was mixed, you could used film or digital, i used both, those are film though. Macro is really hard to achieve with film cameras though.
