i know! the academy of art in san francisco has programs this summer, but i have my little internship thing i'll be doing. bah.

I might do that summer program next year or so, just for fun so I can go to new York. I really want to move there.

When I was in NYC, i didn't figure it to be that great. Though, I was there for a half-day... and never did anything but walk around, being a tourist. The fish market or whatever... smelled fucking TERRIBLE.

Aww, would be a great place to live, especially musicwise. I plan to move to here in Monreal, it's like the canada equivalent of NYC and I know tonnes of people here.

And about bad fish smell - 90% of the jobs in Nova Scotia or Newfoundland are all about fishing and the entire shoreline smells really bad, but you get used to it pretty quickly, and you end up going back and understanding how "home" just has a pollution smell to it

Sudbury there's absolutely nothing to do for sure! Ottawa's even a lot better, and I hate Ottawa. I would either live in a huge city with a good music scene and lots of things to do, or just out in the country with nothing but a wooden house, barn, ripped jeans, and an acoustic guitar, and nothing in between the two.

it's an ok-sized residential city. there's daytona 20 minutes away and orlando around an hour, but that's as good as it gets. it's just unstimulating (save for school, i'm still surprised that we actually have an ib school in this area) and i need somewhere where i can always be ON.

Good plan! School's the only thing holding me back from moving right now, but 1 1/2 years is barely anything. I just have to fait un effort en francais une grande part. There's an entire organization in Montreal dedicated to getting english people job's though, which I'm going to look into
