I am trying to generate some aesthetic interest in the soundscape of this one. Don't get me wrong, it is good. But when I first heard SYR1 I was physically altered. Maybe the series of SYR has blunted my receptivity to radical new sounds. Hence my attempt to hear this again for the first time.

this is one of the weakest SYR's in my opinion. Maybe the weakest. It SHOULD have come packaged with a DVD of the performance, as I assume it was way better in the context of the performance.

it's growing on me. i blindly accept all sy material by default. i will compare it to other syr's to see what you're saying. dvd would be nice.
