i have never been myself but i know people who have and they say it's quite beautiful.It's also quite near Italy wich is where i come from.

space_monkey, my family originates from their, my grandfather who was 100% Croatian actually owned the Croatian Center in Pittsburgh. Actually my last name really resembles the city name sibenik in Croatia.

And every month I get a newspaper, in Croatian, about Pittsburgh's local Croatian gatherings and Croatia's current events...

i've been to KRK in the summer of 2001. You are good at soccer and have higher chances to get incorporated into the EU, than Serbia, for explicable reason.

i was in croatia a long time ago and the only thing i can remember is that there are a lot of sea urchins....

wonderful sea there!
I used to go there by sailboat (in the end is not that far from where I live)
great food there-especially meat!
In the nineties it was the paradise of italian tourists, beacuse very cheap
now it's getting more expensive, though.

i've been there two times. i like the people there living in a country, the are very nice and hospitable to foreigners. but i don't like the nature. it's kinda.. dead and dry

never been there but i know some croatian dudes studying in Sofia. I think Krist Novoselic's roots are croatian. so there must be very tall funny looking bassplayers around there, haha.
