The Liver Bird is a mythical bird that protects the city of Liverpool- it's been on seals and flags associated with the city for almost 800 years now. It made absolute sense to put it on the team logo.

Football/ Soccer seems to be really big in England, and Football (just football) seems big in the US. We don't usually pay attention to those too much in Canada...just hockey.

Against an absolutely dire Derby side. That's £40 million well spent then.

It was obvious Spurs were gonna pick things up eventually, still don't see you breaking into the top 4 though, as had been predicted.
