I made it more then half way to the museum to help at the winter farmer's market, it is 6F with 30mph sustained winds with gusts near 60mph, so it feels like -20F and that wasn't the problem

What was the problem is the road is solid ice, and there were people driving normal speed in sedans, I nearly blew out my voice screaming at this guy coming from behind me for being a complete asshole, and had to turn around cause it was too dangerous

i say do the monitor trick... screenshot her desktop. now, set her monitor 180 degrees so that its technically upside down. but set the wallpaper as that screenshot. hide the icons on the desktop before you do this, obviously. and play with the mouse settings. drive her bonkers to the point of breakdown and she'll quit. problem solved.
