stick a pen under the strings right where the um... "nut" is.. is that right? Right next to the pickups. Those things that bolt together, where the strings come through. I forget what it's called.

Stick a crumpled piece of paper under the strings. Can make it sound like a fucked up banjo.

Tie a shoelace together around the strings to make a fucked up cappo...

Detune your strings a lot and "tie" them together.. for example, put the bottom string in the 5th or 4th.. uh... string hole. I really neeed to learn what the parts of a guitar are called.

Alligator clips.

Forks.

Paper clips.

Obviously, using a slide when playing or a whammy bar is usually good for fucked up sounds.

Leave your guitar in the rain.

you can use one that's plugged into your amp to make crazy sounds, actually (dunno if you can do this on all guitars, I think you need really good pickups; maybe a jackson guita r would do this); supposedly it can eletrocute you.
