Guinness is about all I can say I "like," but I have preferences if I must decide.

Michelob Amber Boch is good if it's available. If I have a choice of cheap beers I go with Coors. Beyond that, I'd rather not pick from a lot of bad stuff. Whiskey, please.

Thank you. Coors is my cheap choice as well, and people always argue me on this. It's the only cheap beer that I can have 4 or 5 of and not be ready to puke. Well, that or High Life.

That being said, I prefer Bells (just about any type), Shiner Bock, Guinness, Goose Island, and of course, Red Stripe.

T&B - Yeah, I know that Efes ain't exactly a classy beer, bu I really do dig it's taste. It must be my South London idiot root showing.

In other news, I also Leffe (Belgium), and whatever the name of that Belgian cherry beer is.

There is a Czech beer that I really like but I forgot its name.

Of course Guiness. Um, Blue Moon is a good for a more berry like beer.

Sierra Nevada and Anchor Steam are also common choices.

I'm a hoppy IPA man all the way and this is the best I've ever had....

Hop Ottin' IPA is as hoppy as they come. The name means "hard working hops," in Boontling, and that tells it all. Generous additions of high-alpha Pacific Northwest hops added during a vigorous boil, plus traditional dry hopping, with whole hop cones, give this ale a delicious citrus aroma, and an intense hoppy bite. This IPA is a hop lover's dream.

7.0 % Alcohol by Volume

Man! With all the great American microbreweries across the country, it absolutely FLOORS me that so many of you people still choose to drink swill like Michelob, Stella, and even Guiness. People, COME ON! There are so many tastier choices out there.

Sorry, but Guinness really isn't that good. Try a smaller American label's stout, something from Flying Dog or Rogue, or even the Sierra Nevada Porter, and you'll notice a huge difference. Guiness is bland by comparison.

From what I hear, the original Guinness in Great Britain is much better than what's imported into the US. I could be wrong.

I used to enjoy mixing Guinness with Bass Ale for the original Black & Tan !

Glad you enjoy that Hop Ottin' gmku, another tasty IPA if you can find it is...

I'll look for it. South Carolina is problematic for always finding the great beers in stock, though one or two places around here do a fair job of stocking their shelves w/ great American micros.

I travel a few times a year to Denver, which of course is beer heaven.
