Marvel Vs Capcom 2 coming to PSN/XBLA

Street Fighter 4 out on PS3 and 360 (on PC soon)

King Of Fighters XII on PS3 and 360 later this year

Mark Of The Wolves on XBLA

and my candidate for Game Of The Year; Blazblue coming to PS3 and 360 mid summer.

Just when I thought the genre was dying, too.

I heard that BlazBlue was cancelled somewhere...hopefully not.
King of Fighters looks cool and I'm enjoying SFIV...i actually won my first online match the other day! with zangief! against ryu!

Street Fighter IV looks pretty good. King of Fighters XII looked less impressive, but the idea that it's completely hand drawn (as the trailer says anyway) is interesting.

I hope the new KOF is good... I haven't liked any of them since 98 to be honest.

BlazBlue is ridiculously fun in the arcades... can't wait to get it to play whenever.

Never heard of BlazBlue honestly. We only have one decent arcade around here and they really only have older games. Stuff like Street Fighter II(can't remember which edition) and Soul Edge. They're slowly expanding though, so maybe some newer stuff'll get in there.

I hate fighting games.. it isn't that they're bad I just am not good at them. Would rather go for platformers or RPGs.
What's a good fighting game for someone who sucks at them?

Other than Ghostbusters, the other game I'm looking forward to is the new Fight Night......Iron Mike up in the piece.

It looks pretty sick.

Yeah Summer, fighting games aren't really my forte either. But I'll entertain any good one. Tekken is my favorite fighting franchise, I like those games alot.

BlazBlue looks pretty funny Vulva. The appealing thing about it is that it actually looks like there's an element of strategy involved in the fighting. Alot of fighting games I've played felt too much like button mashers. Maybe that's due to the inexperience of the people I play with but whatever. I also dig the background on that fight. And Rachel looks like a wacky character to play.

I'm not really anticipating any new games except for Starcraft II. And Half-Life 2: Episode 3, whenever they get around to it. I don't own any of the newer consoles so I can't really check out too much.

Thing I like is that the characters in BB are so different from each other. Whether you play as the trap based Rachel, the shoto-like Jin, the tank/grappler Iron Tager... really they're all so different. That's what I dig about it, it's unlike most fighters. Also, there's basically no recovery grace period from being knocked down, so you always have to be thinking and moving.

Haha I like it. At least it's not Masters of Teras Kasi. That game is pretty lame.

Good sell on BlazBlue though, I'd play it if I ever saw it.

The other great thing about blazblue is that HP is so high in it, so just because one person lands a ridiculous combo doesn't mean the round's already a loss.

Good, maybe game companies and gamers are finally realizing that 2D fighting games are the shit. I pretty much hate 3D fighters, except for Soul Calibur II.
