It took me a while to find this movie cause it's not on DVD for some reason but I did find it on video and watched it tonight. It's a pretty sweet movie from Richard Linklater (Dazed and Confused). Some really great dialogue and acting. And of course the SY soundtrack is great... anybody like this flick?

This movie used to be my anthem when I was 14/15. I used to watch it all the time, I was definetly enamored by it. For some reason I haven't seen it in like 6 or 7 years, I would definetly watch it again to see if all my self hyping of this film was spot on, or just adolescent angst. I do love the dialoque, and this movie helped me get into Sonic Youth, not to mention a slew of other questionable activities.

Slacker is another classic, maybe the one to watch when a little older

Kick ass movie. Richard Linklater is a fucking genius. I can't wait to see A Scanner Darkly. I think it will be a brilliant film.

Nope, thats the older 80's one right? Eric Bogosian (don't quote me on that) made another film entitled ''SubUrbia'' in the mid 90's which featured Sonic Youth's music as the score/soundtrack for it. Go to imdb.com for the details id you wish.

Yeah its the kind of film that should be on after midnight, its got that feel about it. Its so difficult to get a hold of (like most of the films I want..bastards!). I've been trying to get hold of a film called 'Gas, Food, Loginings'...a brilliant film, but impossible to buy. Did this film flop or something?
