in the grand scope of things, refused took a lot from nation of ulysses.

-the look
-the politic rhetorics
-the angular dischord-ness
-the artwork

they just were heavier and added electronics.

thursday, they are not revolutionary or anything, they wrote very good songs. you can make the same case about refused.
