What does Michael Richards saying "nigger" at a stand-up show 10 years after the cancellation of Seinfeld have to do with channeling anything? Or are you talking about something else?

What it means is that legitimate actors/musicians/painters sometimes need dead silence to work. The reason is that they are accessing parts of their brains that most of us can't access. It is very difficult hence only a few can do it.

Michael Richards probably needed that same silence that that Bale did. And when he didn't get it he erupted like a volcano. The problem is that in out era of noise and media pollution we forget that it is concentration which creates great songs and acting...A comedian riffing is similar to a guitarist doing the same..

As for actors being overpaid, well that is a given. But hack Hollywood has ruined the art of acting. We are not talking about Bruce Willis here...Bale comes from the English acting tradition of Hopkins etc who would school any pretty boy American actor anyday. The mind of a talented actor such as Michael Richards is very complex. If you don't understand then you don't have one...Rest assurred you don't have one
