i heard about them about a eyar ago and i've seen em twice since. they're pretty good.

they're music makes me want to dance, and watching jemina onstage is exhausting.

Even for fluff punk, BYOB is fucking painful.

I've thrown my two cents in on this before, but, while I take no issue with Jemina's voice, the lyrics are too dismally moronic to be redeemed. There is no end to the number of albums you can record when writing songs is as easy as making one of these bad boys:

BYOB's first album actually has more cause to be in there than that turd.

I remember reading an interview with the drummer from awesome color (or was it someone from BYOP?) saying how they got signed to EP! without thurston even hearing them or seeing one of their shows. Oh Thurston..

I have the Electric Shake 7", came free with the CD, but no record player. I really want Damn Damn Leash. What I've heard of Electric Shake is great.

Get the CD version of Damn Damn Leash! It has a different take of Electric Shake that is 8908423902 x better than the one on the promo 7" thing..

I sadly made the mistake of buying the 7" of DDL, but there is always soulseek..

EDIT: I just heard the song Adventure on some comercial for AMC. Pretty cool.

I don't understand why everyone thinks they're spoiled/snobby/disillusioned or whatever. Is there some interview that I haven't seen, or do people just mean they don't like the music?

I saw them today at Lollapalooza. They were awesome.
At one point, when they were tuning i challenged my mother to a "Where's Thurston" contest.
I totally won.
