I frigging love them. One of the best shows I've ever seen. And they have a consistently awesome/interesting discography.

They've done some cool shiz. Like making an album of guitar songs that is completely samples of guitars from other peoples' songs.

That's cool. I don't know too much about them, maybe I'll look into them some more.

Not really. I was sorta into them about 6 years ago, when I first heard their Pixies cover. They're really boring though and I'd completely forgotten about them.

Another band from around that time with keyboards and such that was popular amongst the hipsters was Red Light Sting. What the fuck happened to them?

I dunno, I haven't listened to them in years, I thought they had some interesting parts but all in all were just kinda... there. "Boring" doesn't necassarily mean lack of energy.

True. But it does mean lack of ideas, which I really really don't see. I mean, if you just don't like the music, then fine. But I found a lot of their albums interesting and far from boring. Just saying, sir.

I didn't say they had a lack of ideas. And I said they had some interesting stuff. Just boring songs that I'd want to put on very often. A very mediocre band, that's all. I just think a lot of the more synthy stuff was pretty bland.
