What a great band, I mean who else does stuff like this? It's like the rolling stones on acid (even though they probably are on acid) like totally twisted and contorted sounds from the guitarists and weird whisper screaming vocals led by a drummer playing who the fuck knows what. It sort of comes across as formless at first but it becomes apparent that they totally have their shit together. Thes guys are some of the only people doing something NEW. WHOO- acre thrills!!
any other fans?

i've got the sang phat editor LP... I got it for a couple of quid from a record store that was closing its vinyl section... i really dig it... it's like rock but completely pre-articulate... like no wave improv rock'n'roll.. the vocalist works some interesting territory as well... i downloaded a few tracks from their last album but wasn't all that impressed... more structured which i felt didn't really suit them...

Im not as keen on "purple on time" but i think acre thrills is awesome, other than that ive never heard anything else but random stuff like "magik job", "guys and bumps", and soem others.. no stores have their stuff..its lame.

If you like stuff that sounds like the stones on acid, ou should check out The Olivia Tremor Control. They sound exactly like the Beatles, except mixed with Avante Garde and Electronica sounds.
