Prime Minister of the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia, Ali Mohammed Gedi said the support of the Ethiopian government and army is the greatest support Somalia has ever obtained from any other part of the world.
In an interview he gave to Ethiopian journalists in Mogadishu, Prime Minister Gedi said though some foreign forces have been propagating as if Ethiopia has invaded Somalia, the Ethiopian army has been warmly received by the people of Somalia.

The Ethiopian people have showed brotherhood to the people of Somalia, Gedi said, adding the support of the Ethiopian government and people would further be intensified in the efforts of rebuilding Somalia.
The TFG Prime Minister lauded the efforts of the Ethiopian army in eliminating the extremists and liberating the nation.
Gedi called on the people of Somalia to further strengthen their cooperation with the Ethiopian Army, the Ethiopian Television reported citing the Ministry of Defence.
Meanwhile, a clan leader in Mogadishu area, Imam Mahmmoud Imam Oumar said the Ethiopian defence forces and the forces of the Transitional Federal Government (TFG) of Somalia have carried out the task that should have been undertaken by religious and clan leaders in Somalia.

Imam Mahmmoud Imam Oumar said during an exclusive interview with Ethiopian journalists in Mogadishu that people divided in clans had been attacking each other in a civil war and women were being raped during the past 16 years in Somalia.
The clan leader lauded the significant support Ethiopia gave to restore peace in Somalia.
He said the relationship between the people of Somalia and Ethiopia should continue strengthened, Ethiopian Television reported citing the Ministry of Defence.
