was it like the oc, where'll they'll show a hot indie band playing for about ten seconds then it cuts to vaguely attractive main characters discussing the plot and head-bopping along from time to time about hot indie band, then it cuts back for a quick second to show the hot indie band before cutting back to the vaguely attractive main characters acting out the plot? i hate that.

eh. i'll watch my recording of it after my gran's done with american idol. beats nothing.

No, some street performer got "discovered" so now there are bus-loads of them showing up in the city. SY is one of them. It seems to revolve around this old guy getting pissed off at all the music. No audiences that I noticed, but yeah 30 seconds at the most.

The girl some of you are talking about is Alexis Bledel, and yes, she is the young hooker in Sin City.

As for SY doing the show, some people need to lighten up. It was fun, and I'm sure Coco loved being on TV. Wouldn't you do that for your daughter? Or would you say "Sorry honey, but we'll pass on this because we're pretentious art snobs and we're above anything that might pass for mainstream culture."

Yeah it was definetly lip synching

At first though I saw the Pignose amps and I thought thats why her singing is weird but it was just prerecorded. Even thurston is off at some of it...

Does anyone know the band (I think it was right before the hippie guy) that had a guy singing into a microphone and a really old keyboard player?? It was really weird and cool...

It's worth the watch with FF. It's about 25 mins in or so. Coco is going to be a tall girl.... The SY appearance wasn't bad, and no I don't think this constitutes selling-out, but having to watch the show also is what I'm bitching about. I didn't have the option to FF.
