I've heard only bad things about A.R.E. Weapons live gigs, but i like some of the songs of their first album. "Fuck you, pay me" and "Strange dust" are cool imo. What about their "new" LP (i didn't feel like opening a new thread about it,,,)

yeah that i could see as abit of a shocker... though its shown in its interity in Richard Kern's Hardcore collection, as it is taken from one of his films.

a friend of mine called them "gay.r.e. weapons".

the best parts of this documentary were the old footage of the bands, when lydia lunch and everyone else were slagging on these "new no wave" bands and the strokes and when that lamer from a.r.e. weapons was talking about being a total rock star and doing lots of coke and making a million dollars a year and sleeping with tons of hawt chixxx...it was obvious that he was lying.
