Am I the only one who thinks that part of the appeal of SY is how the music does not have to be "good" in order to be expressive and effective? If "good"-ness were the ultimate arbiter of quality, then The Velvet Underground would not be legends. Have you heard Kim sing? Mariah Carey she ain't, but she kicks my face in like MC never could.
